Since the formation of our club back in 1997, our goals have always been to improve, advance, and encourage the instruction, training, and development of the individual - in all forms of figure skating.

As a member of our club you will officially become part of our slice of the skating community. Not only can you expect support and encouragement from us all, you will also have the opportunity to participate in shows, attend instructional seminars, represent OFSC at competitions, and make friendships that can last a lifetime.

25/26 Calendar

Free guest seminar

Alternate perspectives and techniques are critical to the development of a well-rounded athlete. Private lessons are usually offered in conjunction with the seminar and are available to members at a discounted rate of $50 per 30 minutes.

themed skates

Figure skating can be a very individualistic sport and freestyle rules keep talking on the ice to a minimum. That's why we host quarterly themed skates so our members can do what they love but actually hang with their friends and let go of some of the rules for a bit.

christmas show

OFSC puts on an annual Christmas show where members who meet the minimum qualifications can apply for a solo, duet, trio, or quartet performance. These special performances are in addition to group performances, which members are also eligible to participate in.

scholarships

OFSC offers annual scholarships for membership, testing, competing, Christmas Show, and even an academic scholarship for graduating seniors. Scholarships are NOT need-based and are open to ALL members of our club. Our intention is to continue expanding available scholarships.

Serve on the Board

Be the change! All members in good standing are eligible to serve on the OFSC Board of Directors. The Board holds a monthly meeting that is open to members. Even if you can't commit to a larger role there's always room for the expertise you bring to the table.

Family Discounts

We are no stranger to the cost of figure skating so in an effort to offset that burden for families with multiple skaters we offer additional members a 40% discount. This discount only applies to Full Memberships as the Basic Membership is already deeply discounted for those new to the sport.

Event Discounts

We revamped membership this year and now your dues include a seminar, themed skates, and some additional events. In the event that membership numbers allow us to add more events, you're guaranteed to be offed a discount if we can't quite make it free!
