How CJS Works for Compete USA

Absolute Scoring: Judges evaluate skaters against an absolute standard (0.25 to 10.00 scale in 0.25 increments) rather than ranking skaters directly against each other.

Events with Music: Scored using three program components assessing overall performance instead of individual element breakdown.

Events without Music: Compulsory and element events are evaluated using two program components.
