Ozark Figure Skating Club is partnering with the Scott Hamilton CARES Foundation in Sk8 to Elimin8 Cancer! Join us at the rink and on the ice on Saturday, May 6 at The Jones Center in Springdale, Arkansas. to celebrate our fundraising efforts and honor those we love! All are welcome at the rink and on the ice to celebrate with us, so bring a friend, a co-worker, a neighbor and your family too!
Celebration Exhibition Show: A show full of quartets, trios, duets and solos performed by local figure skaters. The show will run from 10:45 to 11:45 a.m. Tickets are $15 per person and include admission to the noon to 3 p.m. public session the day of the show. Tickets will be sold at the rink from 5 to 7 p.m. each Tuesday leading up to the show and at the door on May 6*.
Frozen 5K: An on-ice 5K will take place from 1 to 2 p.m. during the noon to 3 p.m. public session. Registration for the general public will begin at noon on May 6. Registration will be $25 per person*. Participants will also have to pay for admission to the public session, with the exception of those who paid for admission to the show or are all-access members of The Jones Center. All participants in the 5K must start skating between 1 and 1:15 p.m.
Public Session: The public session will take place from noon to 3 p.m. Admission to the public session is $7 per person with skate rental and $5 per person without skate rental*. This public session is free for all-access members of The Jones Center.
* Only cash and checks will be accepted. Checks must be made out to the Scott Hamilton CARES Foundation.
